IGEL DISRUPT 24 Sponsor Q&A Interview – Post Event – Workspot

IGEL DISRUPT 24 delivered on its promise to be the “Ultimate EUC Event” by providing three days of education, inspiration, and market-leading insights designed to prepare attendees for what’s “Now & Next” in EUC. Our guests enjoyed engaging keynotes, breakout sessions, and over 20 BIG IGEL announcements, all set against the backdrop of live music, street food, and plenty of surprises.

IGEL is grateful to our sponsors for their support in making IGEL DISRUPT 24 a tremendous success. We continue our sponsor interview series with Dan O’Farrell, Vice President of Product Marketing for Workspot.

Read on to learn more about Workspot’s partnership with IGEL and why they are an IGEL DISRUPT 24 sponsor.

Tell us about your company and how you partner with IGEL. How long have you been an IGEL partner?

O’Farrell: Workspot has been an IGEL partner since 2022. Workspot offers a modern, cloud-native end-to-end VDI solution that enables easy, secure, and powerful access to virtual apps and desktops within on-prem data centers or any of the most commonly used public clouds – AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. This “hybrid multi-cloud” architecture distinguishes Workspot’s VDI solution from others like Citrix of VMware Horizon. We partner with IGEL as an ideal complementary VDI solution for secure, high-performance, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of virtual apps and desktops anywhere on the planet.

Why is your company a sponsor of IGEL DISRUPT 24? What would you tell other companies considering sponsoring IGEL DISRUPT about your experience and the value of being a sponsor?

O’Farrell: Workspot is an IGEL DISRUPT 24 sponsor because the event is the only event dedicated entirely to end user computing where all the key ecosystem technology, channel, and customer communities converge. As a strong supporter and partner with IGEL, DISRUPT is a “must participate” event for us. We had a great experience at DISRUPT, with many great conversations with partners and potential customers, and excellent market exposure for Workspot. The value we derived was 3-fold: plenty of potential sales leads, excellent EUC company exposure, and newly established and strengthened partnerships with IGEL and other technology and channel partners.

What are two to three things you/your team took away from the experience at IGEL DISRUPT 24 in Miami?

O’Farrell: Our key take-ways from IGEL DISRUPT 24 in Miami include:

  1. Great convergence of all key players across the EUC community
  2. Excellent company EUC market exposure
  3. Plenty of great discussions and quality sales leads

How does attending IGEL DISRUPT help organizations become more prepared for What’s Now and Next in EUC?

O’Farrell: As the biggest single gathering of all the key technology, solutions, and channel players across EUC, attendees get to see and hear the very latest in terms of what’s new and what to expect (“next”) in the future.

What will you remember most about your experience at IGEL DISRUPT 24 in Miami?

O’Farrell: Excellent keynote addresses, on-stage demos, and great discussions with EUC community members and potential customers.

What is one thing you plan to do/accomplish either personally or professionally in the next three to six months?

O’Farrell: We at Workspot are already following up on the many quality sales leads we took away from the event, and we’ll look to highlight any joint opportunities that may arise with IGEL as the secure endpoint OS.
