IGEL and LoginVSI – Revolutionizing the Automated Testing Landscape
Get ready for an exciting time at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach from March 24–27, 2025! IT professionals, industry experts, and End-User Computing (EUC) enthusiasts will converge for IGEL Now & Next 2025, the ultimate event for discussing EUC, endpoint security, and the future of digital workspaces.
We sat down with Ron Oglesby is the SVP and Field CTO at Login VSI, to learn more about the relationship between IGEL and LoginVSI and what attendees can expect to see and learn about the company and its Login Enterprise platform at IGEL Now & Next 2025.
Tell us about your company and how you partner with IGEL. How long have you been an IGEL Ready partner?
Ron Oglesby: At LoginVSI, we create and manage automated performance and functionality tests for Windows Endpoints. Many of our customers have VDI environments and are also leveraging IGEL OS to drive these tests and even report on end-user performance from remote locations.
What are some things your organization is doing together with IGEL to shape the future of EUC?
Ron Oglesby: In collaboration with IGEL, we are revolutionizing the landscape of automated testing by extending its capabilities from Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to Windows Endpoints and modern Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions, including Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365.
How has being a part of the IGEL Ready program improved your business or enhanced customer experience?
Ron Oglesby: As an IGEL Ready partner, we are excited to offer our Login Enterprise Platform integrated with IGEL OS. This collaboration enables our joint customers to significantly decrease their dependence on Windows clients for testing purposes, leading to streamlined processes and improved overall efficiency.
What are some of the key trends that are impacting your partners and customers in 2025, and how is your organization solving these?
Ron Oglesby: The migration to Windows 365 and the transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 will be significant trends within the EUC space in 2025. Customers will spend considerable time testing applications on Windows 11 as they prepare for this migration – setting up initial builds and identifying any necessary changes in management for the new operating system. The shift to Windows 365 will further complicate issues associated with the transition to Windows 11.
At LoginVSI, we are currently supporting automated functionality and performance testing for applications on Windows 11 and Windows 365, which allows customers to evaluate the functionality and performance of their applications across these platforms. Additionally, our software enables customers to establish baseline performance models for Windows 11 and for on-premises setups compared to Windows 365. This facilitates an apples-to-apples comparison using their specific builds and applications.
Why is your organization a sponsor of Now & Next 2025?
Ron Oglesby: The customers attending IGEL Now & Next utilize centralized Windows models such as VDI or AVD within their EUC infrastructure, making them a key target audience where we believe we provide significant value.
As a returning sponsor, what keeps bringing your organization back to these events?
Ron Oglesby: The customers attending IGEL Now & Next and the leads we are able to generate from the event align closely with our core focus and target markets, making it one of the most important events we attend each year.
What will you present to attendees at Now & Next 2025
Ron Oglesby: At IGEL Now & Next 2025, We will be showing automated performance and functionality testing for Change Management in Windows 11 and Windows 365 environments, VDI, RDSH, and even DaaS.
What do you hope attendees learn from the content you share at Now & Next 2025?
Ron Oglesby: We want attendees to walk away, understanding that we offer the ability to replace manual testing (or no testing) of corporate applications for any change in the environment. With LoginVSI, customers can avoid long, man-hour-intensive regression testing for core applications (just automate them), compare performance before and after any change to the system, and catch problems before they are deployed to the production users.
What do you hope to take away from participating in Now & Next 2025?
Ron Oglesby: We are eager to receive updates on IGEL’s roadmap and key focus areas, EUC industry trends, and, of course, a lot of leads!
What is one thing you plan to accomplish in the next three to six months?
Ron Oglesby: Over the next three to six months, we will be focused on driving the adoption of our Login Enterprise for Endpoints platform.
