IGEL and LG – Partnering to Help Businesses Stay Efficient, Secure and Connected

Next week, The Fontainebleau in Miami Beach is the place to be as IT professionals, industry experts, and End-User Computing (EUC) enthusiasts come together for IGEL Now & Next 2025, the premier event for EUC, endpoint security, and digital workspaces.

This four-day event will highlight innovative strategies, solutions, and insights from IGEL partners. Among them is LG, which will showcase how it is redefining how enterprises securely deliver applications to end users on any device.

We spoke with Amy Cannon, Marketing Manager – IT Solutions at LG, to gain insights into the collaboration between IGEL and LG, as well as what participants can expect to see and learn at IGEL Now & Next 2025.

Tell us about your company and how you partner with IGEL. How long have you been an IGEL Ready partner?

Amy Cannon: At LG, we’re all about creating cutting-edge IT and display solutions that help businesses, especially in healthcare, stay efficient, secure, and connected. We’ve been an IGEL Ready partner for four years now, and it’s been a game-changer for us. We’ve integrated IGEL OS into our thin-client devices and commercial displays, giving healthcare providers a secure, cloud-ready experience that makes their jobs easier and more efficient.

What are some things your organization is doing together with IGEL to shape the future of EUC?

Amy Cannon: Together with IGEL, we’re shaping the future of EUC by focusing on security and efficiency. We’re integrating IGEL OS into our devices to provide a Zero Trust security framework that locks down endpoints and reduces vulnerabilities. We’re also working on cloud-enabled workspaces and simplified device management, all aimed at helping healthcare professionals work smarter while keeping patient data safe.

How has being a part of the IGEL Ready program improved your business or enhanced customer experience?

Amy Cannon: Being part of the IGEL Ready program has been fantastic for us! It allows us to offer our customers more secure and efficient solutions. For example, our integration has made device management a breeze for IT teams while ensuring compliance with strict security standards in healthcare settings.

What are some of the key trends that are impacting your partners and customers in 2025, and how is your organization solving these?

Amy Cannon: In 2025, cybersecurity remains a top concern for our partners and customers. We’re addressing this by continually enhancing our security features, like hardware TPM 2.0 for strong data protection and RFID-based authentication for fast, secure logins.  One of the key trends impacting our partners and customers is the ongoing challenge of Windows upgrades, particularly with Windows 10 support ending in October 2025. By adopting a cloud-based approach with IGEL OS and LG Cloud Devices, organizations can break free from the traditional Windows upgrade cycle, reduce IT workload, and focus on more strategic initiatives while ensuring their endpoints remain secure and up-to-date.

Why is your organization a sponsor of Now & Next 2025?

Amy Cannon: We’re sponsoring Now & Next 2025 because it’s the ultimate platform to showcase how LG and IGEL are revolutionizing endpoint security and digital workspaces. It’s a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders and demonstrate our latest innovations.

Is this the first time you have sponsored an IGEL event? If not, what keeps bringing your organization back to these events?

Amy Cannon: This isn’t our first rodeo with IGEL events! We keep coming back because these events are invaluable for networking, learning about the latest trends, and showcasing our solutions to a highly engaged audience.

What will you present to attendees at Now & Next 2025?

Amy Cannon: We’ll be presenting our breakout session titled “Revolutionizing Healthcare IT: LG’s Healthcare Lineup partnered with IGEL OS for Enhanced Security and Efficiency.” We’ll be diving into how our LG Cloud Devices, powered by IGEL OS, are transforming healthcare environments. We’ll cover topics like the synergy between our devices and IGEL OS, real-world applications in healthcare settings, and strategies for implementing and managing our solutions to improve IT efficiency and reduce costs.

In addition to the session, we’ll also be showcasing a range of innovative devices at our booth. You’ll get to see our All-in-One Thin Clients with RFID technology, which are perfect for healthcare environments, especially for shift work and secure authentication. We’ll also have Mobile Thin Clients that offer flexibility and portability, Box-type Thin Clients for those who need a more traditional setup, and All-in-One Cloud Devices that combine style with functionality. Stop by to check them out and experience firsthand how LG and IGEL are revolutionizing healthcare IT!

What do you hope attendees learn from the content you share at Now & Next 2025?

Amy Cannon: We hope attendees will walk away with a clear understanding of how LG Cloud Devices and IGEL OS can enhance security, streamline operations, and improve patient care in healthcare IT. We want them to see the practical benefits of our solutions and feel inspired to implement them in their own organizations. Additionally, we’re excited to share that our solutions aren’t limited to healthcare; we can also help corporate accounts achieve similar benefits in terms of security, efficiency, and cost savings. Whether it’s a healthcare provider or a corporate enterprise, our goal is to empower organizations to leverage the power of cloud computing and endpoint security to drive innovation and success across various industries.

What do you hope to take away from participating in Now & Next 2025?

Amy Cannon: We’re looking forward to learning about the latest advancements in endpoint security and cloud computing in healthcare. We’re also excited to hear real-world insights from IT professionals about their biggest challenges and opportunities.

What is one thing you plan to accomplish either personally or professionally in the next three to six months?

Amy Cannon: Over the next few months, I’m really looking forward to volunteering at the PGA Championship in May. It’s going to be a blast! I’m super excited because my favorite golfer, Bryson DeChambeau, will be there. I love how he thinks outside the box and brings a fresh perspective to the game. Volunteering will be a great way to give back, and I’ll get to see some amazing golf up close.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Now & Next 2025 in Miami!
