IGEL Amps Up Partner Alliances and Names Inaugural 13 to New Platinum Tier
At IGEL we don’t just like our partners. We ♥ our partners! IGEL is a channel first company and the success we are seeing with our higher profile North American presence is the result of our strong relationships with the market’s top ranking partners in delivering industry-leading endpoint technology solutions, including powerful, smart and secure workspace management software. This is why we are tremendously proud to announce the latest milestone in partner success: our expanded IGEL Partner Program which includes a new Platinum level designation for partners that reach certain sales and certification standards.
Our ‘Inaugural 13’ Platinum North America partners are AEC Group, Alchemy Technology Group, Choice Solutions, Coretek, Entisys360, Forthright Technology Partners, Gotham Technology Group, Hogan Consulting Group, MCPc, MTM Technologies Inc., Plan B Technologies, Inc., Right! Systems, Inc., and XenTegra. These first 13 have met a $1 million sales target and have certified four sales and four technical staff members in our training programs.
As a channel-first company, IGEL’s mission is to help our channel partners grow their businesses through IGEL. We are therefore amping up all aspects of partner support, for the new Platinum partner members and for our existing Authorized IGEL Partner (AIP) program. All partners have the benefit of increased training and sales enablement programs and a wider network of support from IGEL’s expanded presence in North America.
Platinum Partners benefits include:
- Marketing support from IGEL, including discretionary funds for joint activities
- IGEL-delivered technical and sales enablement training and access to exclusive sales tools and other partner-related information to qualify and drive business
- Beta program support for select customers and direct access to customer care, inside sales and support for technical inquiries
- Back end rebates, deal registration, deal protection and preferential disbursement of leads
- IGEL Partner Locator Tool special recognition and access to the IGEL social media engagement platform
We’re making these substantial investments in our channel-centric sales engine to give our partners all the tools and support they need to realize a significant return on their IGEL partnership. Our goal is to grow business more quickly and profitably – together. And those 13 inaugural Platinum Partners are just the beginning. Going into 2017 we want to see more partners become Platinum!
Over the past year, IGEL has been fueling the overall growth of its North America channel presence. In late 2015, for example, IGEL completed an extensive study of North America, identifying major metropolitan areas that did not have any Authorized IGEL Partners (AIPs). Using that data, and leveraging its relationship with Citrix, IGEL has recruited new partners in these geographic areas, and today its presence within the U.S. channel extends coast to coast. Other efforts over the past year to increase its relevance in the U.S. channel have included the certification of more than105 reseller and VAR partners as AIPs during 2016. AIPs now make up more than half of IGEL’s channel partner community.
