SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 13, 2016 – IGEL Technology, a world leader in the delivery of powerful workspace management software, IGEL OS™-powered endpoints, zero clients and all-in-one endpoint solutions, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Jeff Feige, Vice President Field SE, North America as one of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should in the IT channel for 2016.
The CRN editorial team, assessing feedback from solution providers and other industry executives, compiles this annual list to celebrate under-the-radar channel management team members from the industry’s top vendors and distributors. Those selected have worked tirelessly to create, promote and manage programs and policies that support and advance the IT channel.
A 15-year veteran of the IT industry and end-user computing expert, Jeff is proficient in the deployment of hardware, software, networking and virtualization solutions. As Vice President Field SE for IGEL, he brings a fresh point of view and expert insight surrounding endpoint security and optimization to the IT channel. Over the past several months, Jeff has played an instrumental role in bringing the newly enhanced IGEL Partner Program to life, training hundreds of engineers and sales representatives on how to build IGEL-based endpoint security and optimization solutions.
Launched earlier this month, the new IGEL Partner Program has been designed to help channel partners capitalize on the endpoint and workspace management software market to create new opportunities to grow their business more quickly and profitably. In conjunction with the launch of its new partner program, IGEL is welcoming more than a dozen partners to its new Platinum Partner level, which gives them access to exclusive resources they can use to drive the sale of both IGEL hardware and software solutions, create new opportunities, fuel revenue growth and close deals faster.
“We are proud to see Jeff recognized by CRN as one of the IT channel’s unsung heroes,” said Jed Ayres, President and CEO, IGEL North America. “Jeff understands the unique challenges our channel partners face when it comes to managing and securing their customers’ endpoints, and since joining IGEL two years ago he has been instrumental in educating and empowering our partners to build successful end-user computing practices, enhance their sales strategies and grow their businesses leveraging IGEL’s products and solutions.”
“There are a number of people who work behind the scenes in the channel whose efforts do not often receive widespread attention, although they truly help to hold up the entire industry and make it the thriving, smoothly functioning ecosystem that it is,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are pleased to shine a spotlight on these individuals with CRN’s 2016 list of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should list and to honor their important work, which quietly underpins the infrastructure of the IT channel and allows the community to advance as a whole.”
