Life on the Edge Episode 3: Remote Monitoring and Management of Endpoints with Control Up.
IGEL’s Life on the Edge is a regular podcast series featuring key IGEL partners discussing the hottest topics in end user computing (EUC). In Episode 3, I speak to Trentent Tye and Shay Gadidi from Control Up. Trentent is a part of the technical marketing team and Shay is a Lead Product Manager.
Remote Monitoring and Management of Endpoints
In episode 2 we covered end user experience, in this episode we are covering how you manage and monitor those remote endpoints used by the end users.
During the interview Trentent, Shay and I discuss remote management, the challenges and how Control Up’s solutions in conjunction with IGEL help resolve those challenges. They describe the products in detail and give us a live demo of each in real-life scenarios.
Remote DX is designed for remote users working from anywhere, it collects performance metrics from off-the-network client devices running Windows, macOS or IGEL OS, without the need for line-of-sight to the Control Up Real-Time DX infrastructure in your data center.
Edge DX allows you to monitor your Windows-, Mac-, Linux-, and IGEL-based physical endpoints in real time, regardless of their location. With it, you can gain a holistic understanding of and detailed information about your endpoints. Delivered as a SaaS application, Edge DX is accessible from anywhere, is designed to work for organizations of any size, and be used by any audience, from IT admins to help desk employees.
